Type a question.

You write a topic. HowTo Studio writes the script, checks the facts, draws every scene, records a voice and adds captions. You edit the result and download an MP4.

Create video

Free to look around. You choose a plan when you create a video.

Every scene starts as a sketch and ends as a finished drawing.

From one question to a finished video

  1. 1

    Type a topic

Write a question or a subject in one or two sentences. Any of 94 languages works for the narration.

  2. 2

    Choose the shape

Pick a video type, a format, a length, a voice and a look. You see the price in credits before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Watch it get made

The script appears as it is written. Rough sketches of each scene turn into finished drawings, and the voice is recorded.

  4. 4

    Edit and download

Change any line, drawing or timing in the editor. Then download an MP4 and subtitle files.

A narrated video with drawn scenes, background music, sound effects and word-by-word captions. It stays editable until you export it.

Four looks

Each look sets the colors, the fonts and the line weight of every scene. Pick one per video.

Pricing

Pick a monthly plan. It gives you credits each month and sets the longest video and the best export quality. Making a video costs 10 credits per started minute.

Unused credits expire when the plan renews.

Questions

What is a credit?

A credit pays for making a video. A video costs 10 credits for each started minute of length, and a 30 second video costs 5. You see the exact price before you confirm.

What if a video does not finish?

The credits return to your balance and you can start it again. You pay once for a video that works.

Can I change the video after it is made?

Yes. Open the editor to rewrite a line, redraw a scene, change the voice or move clips on the timeline. Small changes cost 1 credit or a few credits, shown before you confirm.

What do I get to keep?

An MP4 file at the resolution your plan allows, plus SRT and VTT subtitle files. Exports cost no credits.

Are the facts checked?

Each script goes through a second fact check pass before any drawing starts. It corrects mistakes it finds. You should still read the script before you publish a video.

Which topics are refused?

Topics that give real-world help to make weapons, explosives, drugs or malware, or that promote self-harm, hate or harassment. General education about these subjects is fine. A refused topic returns your credits.
